Expert-led workshops for every journey

For the General Public

MT workshops of varied durations, (one day, 2 days, or 2-3 hours per week for 8 weeks) provide a comprehensive presentation of MT theory and practice.

Theory includes the neuroscience of MT and the stress response, benefits, history in western psychology, and practical components entail training in both formal and informal practices including body scan, breath anchoring, mindful eating and mindful walking.

For the Healthcare Workers

Workshops approved for continuing education points are offered to professionals registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Mindfulness in healthcare: Evidence based application of MT in the healthcare context for both psychological and physical conditions. The workshop provides focuses on the therapeutic application of mindfulness in healthcare.

Mindfulness for Compassion Fatigue: The theory and practice of MT techniques in addressing Secondary traumatic stress, burnout and vicarious trauma in healthcare workers. The material is based on my doctoral research investigating the impact of MT as a self-care strategy for trauma counsellors.

For Organisations

Major corporations such as Google, Nike, Goldman Sachs, and General Mills, and the UK Parliament include MT practices into their wellness programmes Evidence based benefits of workplace MT for both individuals and teams include: increased focus and resilience, stress reduction, improved productivity and job satisfaction.

I offer MT programs for both leaders and employees in the workplace.

The workshop are custom made based on the initial needs assessment and evaluation of the organization.
